Oden has had lots of great bug projects this summer. He had a very successful ant farm earlier, and now he is growing up butterflies for a Butterfly Pavilion that he got for his birthday. We sent away and got 10 baby caterpillars. Within a week, they got really big and fat and the formed crysalises (below).

The chrysalises then get put into the Butterfly Pavilion, and they will emerge as butterflies in ~ 7 days. We can't wait!
Oden has been collecting cicada skins from school. He brought them home and mounted them to some paper so we can put them on his wall.
Oden is a very buggy boy.
